Duties

Help
  • You will have knowledge of the Navy supply system, business policies, and trends in the budget processes in order to make informed decisions in FLIRR process and provide recommendations to leadership.
  • You will have knowledge of inventory control and a workable knowledge of management principles in order to provide FLIRR, Disposal, and Terminations response coordination recommendations to Department Leadership.
  • You will have knowledge of integrated logistics support, as well as a working knowledge of the overall NAVSUP WSS business operation and strategic plan to conduct cost/budget analyses.
  • You will have knowledge of the buy/repair processes, Navy ERP transactions, and other Navy supply systems to utilize for research of requirements determination.

Qualifications

GS-12:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Applying expertise in supply planning, inventory management, and data analysis to improve business processes and coordinate internal responses for the Submarine and Maritime Industrial Operations Department. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) functions, such as Supply Master Data, Supply Planning, Demand Forecasting, Order Fulfillment, Repairable and Consumables Management, and Inventory Management; 2) Applying expert knowledge in Financial and Logistics Integrated Requirements Report (FLIRR)/Materiel Management Review (MMR), Disposal, and Terminations; and 3) Providing expert, functional guidance and consultation concerning the identification and resolution of a wide variety of supply planning and inventory management work issues, and make recommendations.

GS-11:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Applying in-depth knowledge of supply planning, inventory management, and data analysis to improve business processes and coordinate internal responses for the Submarine and Maritime Industrial Operations Department. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) functions, such as: Supply Master Data, Supply Planning, Demand Forecasting, Order Fulfillment, Repairable and Consumables Management, and Inventory Management; 2) Applying functional knowledge in Financial and Logistics Integrated Requirements Report (FLIRR)/Materiel Management Review (MMR), Disposal, and Terminations; and 3) Having prior experience communicating effectively within a team and coordinating a response or solution to an outstanding project or problem.
