Summary

This position is located at the Pacific Beach Resort (Pacific Beach, WA) Fleet Readiness Division of the Fleet & Family Readiness Program (FFRP), Commander, Navy Region Northwest. Provides administrative support and assist the Resort Manager in daily work processes. Expectations include confidentiality, knowledge and familiarity of each branch operation and a positive and professional attitude to all employees and guests.

Duties

Help

  • Provide administrative support and assist the Resort Manager in daily work processes.
  • Processes and types all correspondence, memos, contracts, and reports for all branches.
  • For payroll, incumbent assists managers in computing employee timesheets daily.
  • Performs a variety of routine duties to include initiating reports for insurance when accidents occur and maintaining log of all paperwork for all personnel actions.
  • Serves as liaison between the Keyport Regional FFRP Service Center
  • Delivers flexible employee indoctrination on an on-going basis.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the organization procedures, policies, and functional assignments within the division to answer questions, refer callers and visitors.
  • Flexibility and ability to prioritize projects.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills.

There is no education requirement for this position.

Additional information

Salary is dependent on experience and/or education. Some positions have special requirements. Selectee may be required to complete a one (1) year probationary period.
