1. Mixes beverages by combining and proportioning pre-mixed packages or a limited number of ingredients such as liquors, soda, water, beer and wine in accordance with standard recipes and serves to patrons.
2. Receives orders from patrons, computes charges, collects appropriate amounts from patrons and/or waiters and makes change in accordance with established cash handling procedures. Responsible for own change fund. Prepares daily activity reports and ensures funds are either properly secured and/or deposited in accordance with cash handling instructions.
3. Ensures adequate stock levels, arranges and displays bottled goods and glasses about the bar. Replenishes stock and notifies supervisor when supplies and stock are low. Ensures that supplies and equipment are economically used and waste is kept to a minimum.
4. May be required to take inventories and ensures prices are accurate. May be required to calibrate the bar as required.
5. Washes, cleans and dries bar glasses, utensils and equipment. Ensure working area is maintained according to appropriate sanitation and safety standards to include, but not limited to sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning sinks, walls, cabinets etc.
6. Responsible for complying with all safety, fire and sanitation rules and regulations.
7. Performs other related duties as assigned
