Duties

Help

  • Responsible for full range of cash management and accountability duties that include but are not limited to: issue, receipt, and control of cash, fee computation, and preparation of daily deposits and daily cash reports for NAF AO.

  • Uses various software programs to accomplish routine clerical work, reports, logs, and completion of Time and Attendance cards.

  • Performs a variety of general office duties such as receiving and directing calls and visitors.

  • Answers inquiries regarding various programs offered, the organization, functions, activities and personnel.

  • Review the activity and events that are to take place and schedules staff accordingly to ensure they are carried out as planned by management.

  • Creates and maintains official files and other reference materials.

  • Performs and/or assists other specialists/patrons on the operations and maintenance of Auto Hobby Complex facilities to include issuance and accountability of tools and equipment.

  • Assures patron satisfaction by resolving complaints and other customer problems.

  • Assigned alternate custodial responsibilities of funds, facility, and property.

  • May be required to work an uncommon tour of duty.

  • Conducts monthly resale inventories and product to replenish stock.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

The area of consideration for this vacancy announcement:

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience:
  • Must have experience with cash handling, clerical or office work of any kind which demonstrates ability to perform satisfactorily at the grade level of the position.
  • Experience that provide demonstrated knowledge of program operation as required.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Must possess good communication skills.
  • Knowledge of fire, safety and health regulations.
  • Knowledge of office automation software (MS Windows, MS Office, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel).
