Duties

Help

Assists in the day-to-day workforce management of facility to include scheduling of staff, employee recruitment, staff training, approval of leave, timecards, performance reviews and administration of discipline.

Applies Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) principles and requirements to all personnel management actions.

Provides technical program support and guidance to subordinates.

Responsible for adhering to mission planning, programming, scheduling, policies and procedures to implement DOD, Air Staff and USAFE directives.

Assists in developing budgets, tracking expenses, performing detailed analysis of operating statements and accomplishing short- and long-range strategic planning.

Evaluates complex activity operating statements to determine inefficiencies and develops comprehensive business plans to strengthen financial performance.

Assists in development of annual marketing plans to include a detailed annual schedule of events.

May be required to manage both O&M and NAF assets to include internal controls.

Prepares and accurately enters data into Air Force financial data software such as NAFDIS, IBPS, SAIS, and SETS computer software platforms.

Manages the applicable social media for the facilities/programs supervised in the absence of the manager.

May serve as both the Appropriated and Non-appropriated Fund Purchase Card Holder or approving official for the Skills Development Center.

Ensures compliance with all environmental procedures and policies.

In the absence of the Manager, serves as the facility's primary representative for Self-Inspection to include MICT, Safety, HAZCOM and EESOH-MIS.

Assists with other functional elements of the Flight and Squadron as directed by the Community Services Flight Leadership.

Acts as the Unit Dangerous Goods Advisor (UDGA).

Will be designated to provide oversight over one or more of the operations within the Skills Development Center.

Performs other duties as assigned.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience:
Must have experience and a working knowledge of the Skills Development Center operations and the programs therein.

Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and present a professional image.

Desired familiarity with Conditions of Employment (CoE's) for Local National employees.

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify.
