Responsible for the collection of raw data to form qualitative and quantitative studies using online data collection tools, manual input, and scanned documents. Tracks and reports survey response rates for all AFSV surveys. Evaluates internal survey requests to determine applicability to survey tool. With guidance, prepares survey/study design, determines data collection method and reporting and works with the program manager and market research analyst. Assists in the development of research questionnaires. Maintains library of approved surveys within the contracted survey tool. Assists in all phases of the survey implementation process for AFSV generated surveys. Tracks MAJCOM and AF-wide usage of contracted survey software. Responsible for all phases of the research scanning solution to include, but not limited to, developing/designing paper surveys, initiating scanning templates, data mapping for import into questionnaire databases and data verification. Ensures error free scanning and verifies all documents using system software. Assists in the development of survey reports based on data collected online, through manual interview and from scanned documents. Exports various database information from a variety of sources for further analysis and reporting into Excel, PowerPoint, SAS and SPSS. Based on predetermined research goals, writes and prepares scripts and collects data from approved Air Force sources. i.e.. AFPC website using SAS database. Troubleshoots SAS program by diagnosing and correcting programming errors. Performs study randomizations and sample size calculations. Responsible for maintaining accurate password and login privileges to contracted software provider according to approved standards. Responsible for report production including printing, binding and shipping. Administrative duties include developing Power Point presentations, Word documents, Excel spreadsheets and Access databases as required. Maintains storage facilities and inventory. Assists in the packing, shipping and distribution of mailings for Marketing Branch. Serves as NAF and APF Equipment custodian for Marketing Branch. Maintains all equipment records and issues. Maintains marketing branch software issues, request forms and inventory. Holds NAF GPC card and maintains required records. Maintains and procures supplies for branch. Performs all other duties as assigned.
