Summary
You will serve as a PRODUCTION RESOURCES NUCLEAR DIRECTOR in the Detachment Guam, Nuclear Production Department, Nuclear Regional Maintenance Department of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
Current and former permanent employees, DoD Military Spouse Preference (MSP) eligibles, DoD Military Reserve (MR) and National Guard (NG) Technician Preference eligibles and DoD Retained Grade Preference eligibles, and VEOA eligibles.
You will serve as supervisory oversight for work operations in support of naval nuclear ship repair, maintenance, modernization, and overhaul.
You will participate in and conduct long-range, intermediate, and emergent planning for the department's overall goals.
You will oversee the Administrative Support, Ship/Sub maintenance and repair production support to ensure compliance with requirements and specifications.
You will consult and coordinate plans with planning personnel regarding material and manpower requirements and limits.
You will supervise a total work force comprising of 20-30 non-supervisory employees of various trades, developing employees through training programs/courses, recommending employees for promotion, reassignment, etc, and resolving grievances.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Planning, scheduling and execution of nuclear production work in the overhaul, repair, modification and conversion of naval nuclear ships.
Supervising and managing production workers and project management teams.
Applying technical specifications and work practices associated with the overhaul, repair, modification of Naval Nuclear Ships.
