Summary

U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. Territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation.
Performs Lifeguard duties, responsible for safeguarding the lives of persons using the swimming pool. Rescues swimmers and administers first aid as required. Ensures that safety rules are followed.
Assists in maintaining pool and keeping the area clean and free from any hazards. Provides information to swimmers regarding safety rules and procedures.
Assists patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instructions, demonstrating new equipment, teaching classes etc.
Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position to include a physical, and childcare checks. All local background checks will be re-verified every 5 years.
A one year probationary period may be required.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Duties may involve working both indoors and outdoors.
Operation is 7 days a week: Monday - Friday 1000-1800, Saturday - Sunday 1000-1400.
Qualifications

Work experience related to the duties described above that included customer service, operation and maintenance of sports facilities and fitness equipment; and possess the following certificates:
Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
First Aid Certification (Certificates issued by American Red Cross, Ellis @ Associates, Star Guard or other nationally recognized agencies are acceptable)
