Duties

Help
  • Performs Lifeguard duties, responsible for safeguarding the lives of persons using the swimming pool. Rescues swimmers and administers first aid as required. Ensures that safety rules are followed.
  • Assists in maintaining pool and keeping the area clean and free from any hazards. Provides information to swimmers regarding safety rules and procedures.
  • Assists patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instructions, demonstrating new equipment, teaching classes etc.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position to include a physical, and childcare checks. All local background checks will be re-verified every 5 years.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Duties may involve working both indoors and outdoors.
  • Operation is 7 days a week: Monday - Friday 1000-1800, Saturday - Sunday 1000-1400.

Qualifications

Qualifications must be clearly verifiable in your resume.
Work experience related to the duties described above that included customer service, operation and maintenance of sports facilities and fitness equipment; and possess the following certificates:

  • Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
  • First Aid Certification (Certificates issued by American Red Cross, Ellis @ Associates, Star Guard or other nationally recognized agencies are acceptable)
