What to Expect

  • Performs technical support work in one or more human resources functional areas such as; staffing, classification, employee relations, benefits, workers' compensation, employee development, background checks, and labor relations.
  • Typical assignment(s) may include, but not limited to; analyzing jobs, applying grading criteria and recommending classifications.
  • Develops job vacancy announcements and reviews and rates job applicants for a variety of jobs, evaluating and determining eligibility for applicant¿s qualifications.
  • Reviews and interprets related rules, regulations, and internal instructions for comments and implementation.
  • Maintains a high degree of contact with supervisors and employees to provide advice and assistance.
  • This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs may be required.  
  • Performs other related duties as required.

What are we looking for?

  • Three years of experience working in Human Resources or related field.
  • Must possess practical knowledge and skills in personnel procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Must have the ability to plan, organize, and direct complex personnel operations.
  • Must possess excellent customer service and computer skills.
  • Must be able to work in fast pace, demanding work environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, and the flexibility to adapt with changing requirements.
  • May be required to successfully complete, obtain, and maintain Tier 3 level background check investigation.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
