You will provide technical oversight of the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division cyber portfolio of Information Systems, ensuring compliance with DoD and DON cyber policy.
You will be responsible for communicating complex cyber and technical issues, concepts, and risks to NAVAIR, Program Offices, NAWCTSD leadership, and stakeholders.
You will serve as an an expert in the application of the Navy's Cyber Assessment and Authorization process (e.g., Risk Management Framework (RMF)).
You will plan, conduct, and evaluate Navy IT system Risk Assessments and ensures that cyber Assessments and authorizations are performed and submitted at on schedule and meet requisite quality assurance checks.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 722, proficiency level Advanced the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.

Qualifications

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Implementing Department of the Navy Cybersecurity policies, monitoring compliance, and reviewing/reporting results of such monitoring; 2) Working within the Department Of Defense's Assessment & Authorization frameworks, including the Risk Management Framework; 3) Developing and executing command cybersecurity incident response and reporting; 4) Continuous monitoring of cybersecurity operations within the cybersecurity environment to ensure compliance with information system security requirements; 5) Ensuring users and system support personnel have the required security clearances, authorization and need-to-know before granting access to information systems; and 6) Ensuring cybersecurity inspections, tests, and reviews are synchronized and coordinated with affected parties and organizations. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
