Duties

Help

Provides general assistance in support of the marketing function of the Force Support Squadron (FSS). Under the direction of the
Marketing Director assists in conducting market research, survey administration and on-site datu collection. Assists in gathering
general information from FSS flight chiefs; and activity managers and/or programmers. Ensures delivery of marketing collateral to
include print product and digital content base-wide to select point-of-sales. Assists in preparing briefings and trainings. Develops and maintains surveys, data collection, customer comments, and analyzing feedback for reporting purposes. Monitors, maintains and
updates marketing's social media outlets and smart phone applications. May often attend and photograph FSS and base-wide special
events/ programs to include evenings and weekends. Collects and disseminates information about squadron's programs, events and
activities. Updates and maintains E-Screens and Kiosks in various on-base facilities. Maintains photographic, historical reference and publicity continuity files. Works closely with the Marketing staff to give presentations and briefings as required. Assists with
administrative duties including preparing contracts and sponsorship agreements, inventory management and ordering supplies for
department. Creates and prepares weekly e-mail blasts and social media posts to targeted base groups. Performs basic routine graphic design. Assists with creating prepress digital artwork, illustrations and advertising materials for multi-media presentations. Must keep abreast of changes to Air Force Instructions and guidance covering web pages, publicity, commercial sponsorship, advertising and maintenance as well as ensuring all licenses and registrations are updated.

Qualifying Experience:
Must have exceptional writing and organizational skills. Must possess skill in dealing with the public and communicate well with co­workers and perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. The ability to learn new computer-based technologies, programs and processes required. General knowledge of DSLR cameras and concept of photography required; video camera operation and editing a plus. Must have clerical experience in which the employee has demonstrated the ability to perform at the grade level position, which may require receiving and compiling information and data, the correct use of English grammar and spelling. Knowledge of office automation software (MS Windows, MS Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Access, Excel, and Suite) is required, as well as knowledge of correspondence, formats, and grammar. Must have general knowledge of typical office equipment such as copy machines, large formal printers, and laminating machines. Must be familiar with the operation of digital cameras and video equipment. Must have knowledge of Survey development software, customer feedback programs, and graphic programs such as Adobe Suite.
Experience or training in Web design and video editing is desired, but not necessary. This position occasionally requires evenings/weekends and holiday assignments.
