Duties

Help

Position will be responsible for entering reservations in the Lodge Wright Hotel and Motel reservations software (or current system) for active duty military, military retirees, DoD civilians, military reserve, National Guard and other authorized users. Receives reservations made by phone, email, internet or in person ensuring that only qualified users reserve rental units. Accepts cancellations by adhering to cancellation policies without without error. Check in or check out qualified guests and/or groups. Provides digital cable TV adapter to RV guests. Provide guests with pertinent information concerning the recreation programs, restaurant, golf carts, recreational rental equipment, pool, and gift shop. Assist guests in obtaining local area information. Prepares daily cashier reports for register and change fund monies. Operates a cash register to receive reservation and resale monies/credit cards/checks. Will be responsible to assist in sale of gift shop items, assists in stocking/pricing of resale merchandise. Will also assist in conducting monthly inventories. Assists with equipment rental operations. May be designated to open or close the reception area which would entail opening the safe and verifying change fund for cash register use. At the start of the day, prints daily incoming reservations, guest check outs, cleaning list and distributes those lists to housekeeping and maintenance; at the end of the day. prepares bank deposits and secures monies in the safe. Assists in the training of new staff. Preforms other duties as assigned.

Qualifying Experience:
Experience in general clerical or office work such as filing and general office functions is desirable but not required. A working knowledge of keyboard and computer operations are required. A knowledge of cash register operations is desirable but not required. Successful completion and favorable adjudication of background investigation (Tier 1 Level) is required.
