The area of consideration is USAG Stuttgart wide U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. Territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation. Duties

Help
  • Supports activities and services of the athletics and intramural sports program. Provides oversight of events and tournaments.
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of athletic facilities. Ensures adherence to regulations and safety procedures.
  • Monitors condition of, cleans, and performs minor maintenance on athletics equipment.
  • Assists in setting up for special events and sports tournaments.
  • Assistants with publicity of events and tournaments and assists with the delivery and placement of posters, flyers, and other promotional material.

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Possesses satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, 2-13, to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
  • This position may require a health screening due to the lifting requirement of 45 lb. Immunizations may be required as a condition of employment for the health and safety of those in the facility.
  • Must obtain and maintain a nationally recognized certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED within one year of employment
  • Must be able to endure physical demands beyond normal requirements including prolonged standing and walking and must be able to work in settings where exposure to moderate discomforts may exist.
  • Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule, to include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

1. Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of the position.
2. Must be able to obtain a nationally recognized certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED

HIGHLY DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. One year of full-time work experience in the sports and fitness industry.
2. Current nationally recognized certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED.

PCS Costs
  • Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
Pay-Band Allowances and Differentials
  • Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. Sunday premium may be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
  • Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. Night differential may be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.
Incentives and Bonuses
  • Incentives will not be paid.
Foreign Overseas Allowances
  • Allowances, differentials, or incentives will not be paid.
  • Post allowance may be paid in accordance with the Department of States Standardized Regulations (DSSR), contingent upon eligibility.
