Formulates and implements marketing policy and procedure for MWR programs.
Recommends priorities, develops plans and directs the execution of market research, analysis and assessment. Develops long and short-range marketing operation plans.
Develops sales, promotional and merchandising strategies, brochures and pamphlets.
Identifies and analyzes customer needs and satisfaction
Directs subordinate staff in assisting managers market and promote their programs. This includes advertising, event marketing, sales campaigns, sales promotions, radio and television production graphic art design, and development of MWR publications.

Possesses satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, 2-13, to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
Qualifications
Demonstrated related work experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.
Work experience developing market research programs, data analysis, business practices and economic principals.
(Note: Work experience must be equivalent in complexity, difficulty and responsibility to the next lower pay band level).
OR
Completion of the requirements for a master's or equivalent graduate degree in marketing, or advertising. This must include specialized education developing market research programs and data analysis, business practices and economic principles

Managing marketing initiatives across various programs, such as: social media, graphic design, and webpage development
Creation of marketing plans and campaigns

Pay-Band Allowances and Differentials
This is a pay-banded position.
Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.
PCS Costs
Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is in the Government's interest.
Living Quarters Allowance (LQA) will be paid in accordance with (IAW) the Department of States Standardized Regulations (DSSR). An eligibility review will take place for positions approved to receive LQA.
Post Allowance may be paid in accordance with the DSSR.
