Summary

Fort McCoy operates one of the premier Outdoor Recreation programs in the Army. Pine View Campground is a large full-service campground that includes over 170 campsites and 17 cabins. A well-stocked camp store provides essentials, and a wide range of activities are available to guests.

Duties

Help
  • Answers phones and assists patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instruction, and demonstrating new equipment.
  • Assists customers to ensure satisfactory service and resolves customer complaints.
  • Works with a point of sales system (RecTrac).
  • Provides support for special events, social activities, tournaments and related functions. May provide work guidance to other staff.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Duties may involve working both indoors and outdoors. Job will consist of working in all weather conditions.
  • Driver's License is not required for position; however, a driver's license is required if operating a government vehicle to include UTVs/ATVs.
  • This is a 7-day operation, work schedule will be based on the needs of the activity. Nights, weekends and holidays are required.
