Summary

You will read, interpret, and observe flow meters, charts, gauges, telemeters, correcting and adjusting flows by starting, stopping, and adjusting pumps to meet water demand.
You will operate emergency pumping equipment such as auxiliary gasoline and diesel motors and generators at internals to determine operating efficiency.
You will perform preventative maintenance on all equipment, such as painting, checking bearings, changing oils, greasing, adjusting and changing packing, assisting in minor and major repairs and overhaul of equipment.
You will follow all safety requirements as prescribed by supervisory authority including handling, mixing, and storage of hazardous chemicals, gases, and reagents.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
