Serve as an IT Specialist (NETWORK/SYSADMIN) and the principal advisor to the Group Commander on all matters regarding planning, implementing and managing cybersecurity (CS) and information technology (IT); providing oversight and technical assistance to subordinate units utilizing systems unique to the USACIDC command.

Serve as the and Local Area Network (LAN)/Wide Area Network (WAN) technical expert in a Military Police Group.
Analyze and verify the feasibility of advanced systems design and integration within established and planned architectures.
Coordinate new initiatives, project statuses, and technology updates with parent Headquarters (USACIDC). Review new or changing requirements, incorporating these requirements into existing or planned systems.
Perform IT project management and technical services to maintain Group and subordinate field office operations.
Serve as the Information System Security Officer (ISSO).
Review new or changing requirements, incorporating these requirements into existing or planned systems.
One year trial/probationary period may be required.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: disseminate policy and guidance on Information Technology (IT) and Cyber Security (CS) programs; provide oversight and technical assistance with utilizing systems, critical IT issues, and IT development applications; and provide administration of Local Area Network (LAN)/Wide Area Network (WAN) for the command. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
