Duties

Help
  • Serves as a data management expert, providing analytical support for Military Programs utilizing Automated Information Systems 9AIS) applications for reginal report/visualization development/generation.
  • Applies in-depth knowledge of program and project management principles, Corps of Engineers organizational structure and functions, and database tools such as SQL, PowerBI, or Qlik Sense to drive business decisions and inform strategic planning.
  • Provides technical expertise and guidance to Program Managers or Military Construction, Environmental, International and Interagency Support, and Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization programs, supporting program management and analysis tasks.
  • Provides regional leadership in program analytics to support Military and Civil Works Missions/Programs execution.
  • Develops and delivers training and outreach programs on the use of key systems and technologies, including PROMIS, EDW, data visualization, and report building, to enhance regional capabilities and knowledge.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). GS-13: One year of specialized expertise in data analysis and visualization using automated information systems (AIS) such as CEFMS, RMS, EDW and other like systems, with a comprehensive understanding of Program Management and the program delivery business process. Must be proficient in developing reports using SQL and other database tools, using application programming interfaces, as well as state-of-the-art visualization tools, such as Power BI and Qlik Sense, consolidating and analyzing regional data to support decision-making, performing trend analysis, and delivering insightful briefs, reports, dashboards, and recommendations (GS-12)

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
