This position is located in the Bowling Center of Fleet & Family Readiness Programs at Naval Air Station, Lemoore. The primary purpose of this position is to oversee the various functions in the facility to ensure that established policies and procedures are followed and adhered to.
Summary
This position is located in the Bowling Center of Fleet & Family Readiness Programs at Naval Air Station, Lemoore. The primary purpose of this position is to oversee the various functions in the facility to ensure that established policies and procedures are followed and adhered to.
Responsible for monitoring sales to ensure established policies are adhered to during a shift. Operates a point of sales (POS) system to document sales.
Must obtain CARE training, food service training and customer service training within 90 days of employment.
Performs first level supervisory duties which include recommending hiring and disciplinary actions, training, job assessments, etc. Provides work direction to subordinates to ensure high level of customer service is maintained in the facility.
Reviews the schedule of functions that are to take place during assigned shift. Monitors operations to ensure Bowling programs and Bowling snack bar operations run smoothly taking corrective action as necessary. Works with staff to ensure that all planned events take place as scheduled. Ensures standard operating procedures are adhered to. Communicates any issues to supervisor.
Ensures established closing procedures are followed to secure building after shift.
This position is subject to irregular working hours including early shift, late shift, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as rotating shifts, often consisting of other than normal duty hours.
Performs other related or incidental duties as assigned. May assist with special events as needed.
Must pass all applicable records and background check.
Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment.
Must have a valid state driver's license.
Qualifications

a fine sense of public and customer relations
familiarity with the operations of a bowling center and snack bar operations
