Duties

Help
  • Recommends instructional strategies and prepares instructional material
  • Adapts and revises course Training Support Documents Course Management Plan (CMP), Master Training Schedule (MTS), Individual Student Assessment Plan (ISAP)) and other Soldier learning products and materials.
  • Inputs draft course scope, prerequisites, and special information into the Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS) when submitting revised CADs or POIs.
  • Consults with the educational professionals and subject matter experts (SME) to resolve problems and differences of opinion concerning ongoing design and development of Army training and evaluation materials (e.g., STP, ETV).
  • Develops and analyzes surveys.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. This position is in the Professional Work Category at the Full Performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one-year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by 1) Performing job and task analyses for course development of assigned MOS, 2) Maintaining course training documents to include: Course Management Plan (CMP), Master Training Schedule (MTS), Individual Assessment Plan (ISAP) and other soldier learning products and materials, and 3) Conducting learning product validations.

Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.

OR

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
