Help
  • Conducts reviews of the Integrated Product Support (IPS) planning program.
  • Identifies IPS planning requirements needed for systems fielded to defense elements.
  • Reviews and assists with equipment and Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) authorization development, type classification, and documenting materiel supportability and acceptability.
  • Assists in the development of Basis of Issue Plan Feeder Data (BOIPFD) and Manpower Requirements Criteria (MARC).
  • Represents the command at meetings, conferences, working groups, training requests, and committees at all levels.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.

Specialized Experience which includes: 1) Performing and managing tasks or programs in the areas of Life Cycle Logistics, 2) Participating in or leading meetings or working groups with various organizations, 3) Providing support to internal and external customers, and 4) Providing training or briefings in support of Army equipment, systems, or items.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).

  • This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology Workforce position. Selectees must meet the position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics within 48 months of entrance on duty.   • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Position is designated non-critical sensitive as defined in DoD 5200.2
  • This requires that a personnel security investigation be adjudicated on a pre-appointment basis which may take up to 90 days or longer to process. The selectee may be allowed to start work prior to adjudication if management approved. Obtaining and maintaining a secret security clearance is a condition of employment. If the security clearance is denied or revoked, the individual may be denied or removed from the position, accordingly.
  • Position may be filled as a time-limited promotion, reassignment or change to lower grade not to exceed (NTE) 1 year by a current permanent Army employee. Time-limited promotions may be extended up to a maximum of five years. Time-limited reassignments and changes to lower grade may exceed five years, however return rights may be impacted. Position may be made permanent without further.
