Duties

Help

  • As the technical administrative advisor to the group/wing/directorate, oversees development, implementation, operation and provision of the organization's administrative and management functions.
  • Exercises delegated authority to oversee administrative and management operations/projects, including, planning, direction and timely execution of support administrative programs, program segments, for group/wing/directorate approval as necessary, assuring compliance with all applicable guidance and direction.
  • Exercises substantial delegated authority to enter into administrative and technical agreements and make decisions on behalf of group/wing/directorate, while representing the group/wing/directorate at formal and informal meetings and conferences, covering a wide variety of installation management, operational, and administrative matters.
  • Preview personnel actions, including performance evaluations and decorations.
  • Safety and Health Responsibilities: Promote safety and health in the workplace through awareness and compliance with safety regulations and best practices.

Qualifications

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband (NH-02), equivalent to the next to lower grade (GS-11) or equivalent in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is described as technical and administrative support on management of operations, programs, and process improvement; Executive knowledge of a multitude of management, administrative, and technical initiatives; Technical and general knowledge of security procedures related to safeguarding sensitive data to oversee development, implementation, and operation of organization's administrative functions; Providing qualitative and quantitative analysis of a fact-finding, investigative nature, relative to a variety of complex management or administrative issues.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Extensive knowledge and ability to apply a wide variety of procedures, requirements, regulations, and policies related to specialized projects in the Installation administrative, management and support work of group/wing/directorate including the ability to maintain credibility with other on technical matters.
2. Extensive knowledge and expertise relative to organizational structure, function, and mission of wing and HQ.
3. Comprehensive knowledge and skill in conducting program studies and requirement review.
4. Skill and ability to coach, mentor and motivate within a team concept; w/ability to adapt leadership style to a variety of situations and incorporate high standards of honesty, integrity, trust, openness, and respect to daily endeavors.
5. Skill and technical ability to conduct research, analyze a wide variety of programs/policies/procedures, evaluate program effectiveness/efficiency, recognize problems/weaknesses/constraints and impacts on other programs, summarize results, make appropriate recommendations/changes and develop short term and long range administrative and management support plans.
6. Knowledge and skill in the interpretation, application and implementation of JCFS, DOD, AF, AFMC and local instructions, concepts, procedures, guidance and policy, concerning numerous Installation missions, operations and programs.
7. Detailed knowledge of Installation level, HQ and other major tenant missions and operations, sufficient to develop, evaluate and implement a wide variety of efficient and effective support programs.
8. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally in writing, provides accurate and effective staff summary analysis and briefings/presentations to all management levels.


PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
