Help
  • Provide regulatory guidance and direction on Maintenance Engineering, Readiness and Logistics Policy to the TACOM LCMC community and supported agencies.
  • Assess overall direction and effectiveness of TACOM LCMC Logistics, Readiness and Maintenance Engineering Processes.
  • Maintains liaison with officials and counterparts in functional areas with supporting commands/agencies to ensure consistency of effort.
  • Plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts priorities and prepares schedules for completion of work.

  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics Certification within 48 months of entrance on duty.
  • This is a Critical Acquisition Position. This position requires the selectee to remain in Federal service for at least 3 years.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
  • This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one-year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
  • This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel away from your permanent duty station requirement of up to 25% of the time.

Specialized Experience: In order to qualify for this position your resume must describe one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13 or equivalent) grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) Interpreting technical policy, procedures and regulations to ensure adherence to schedules and priorities; 2) Briefing leadership or key officials on program status and evaluate policies and proposals involving logistics support missions or programs; 3) Analyzing the impact of current activities on current and projected resources, to recommend feasible alternatives, to determine milestone events; AND 4) Establishing and/or leading teams to execute complex, logistics programs.

The definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-03 or GS-13 equivalent.

This position is subject to a salary control point equivalent to the GS-14, step 10 base salary or if the incumbent's salary currently exceeds the GS-14, step 10 level the incumbent's salary will be put on a salary control point at the incumbent's existing salary.
