Summary

You will serve as the Senior Intelligence Analyst (SIA) GG-0132-14 in the Europe-Eurasia Regional Division within the S2 Intelligence Directorate at the Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA), located in Quantico, VA. As a Senior Intelligence Analyst within the Europe-Eurasia Regional Division, you will be responsible for ensuring that analysis is timely, relevant, incorporates sound tradecraft principles, and conforms to Intelligence Community Directives.

Duties

Help
  • You will lead individual analysts through the Analytic Design Process to develop original all-source analytic assessments from concept to finished product.
  • You will review drafts of all-source products to ensure they are in compliance with Intelligence Community Directives and standards.
  • You will lead and nurture individual line analysts to develop quantitative and qualitative research strategies, develop analytic methods, identify collection opportunities, and formulate collection requirements.
  • You will facilitate Division collaboration with analysts from other functions, disciplines, and area expertise to facilitate collection requirements and to integrate analysis and produce all-source cross-regional multi-functional assessments.
  • You will collaborate with other senior intelligence analysts to produce annual global intelligence estimates, coordinate production plans, and facilitate cross-directorate/divisional/branch production.
  • You will develop and lead Division execution of its Program of Analysis and deliberate production schedule in accordance with organizational guidance and policies.
  • You will serve as the USMC/MCIA representative at designated interagency and community meetings, conferences, and forums.

  • This position requires periodic polygraph examinations.
  • This position may require a 2-year DCIPS trial period.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Evaluating all-source intelligence assessments/products for compliance with Intelligence Community Directive 203; 2) Demonstrating experience facilitating/mentoring analysts in the production of all-source intelligence assessments using Structured Analytic Techniques, Analytic Design, and/or other IC analytic tools, methods and frameworks; and 3) Leading internal or external working groups to address analytic issues.
