Lead the formation and execute technical solutions based on laboratory experience and knowledge of construction and engineering
Direct work of other technicians and researchers
Coordinate work within and outside of the direct research area with other technicians and researchers
Lead and responsible for installation, maintenance, and operation of complex systems
Collect and analyze data according to American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards
Operate laboratory instruments including gas chromatographs, microscopes, viscometers, adhesion testers, accelerated weathering chambers, impact and abrasion testers, centrifuges, and other related equipment.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
