About the position: This position will be a Motor Vehicle Operator (Food Service Worker) assigned to Rockers Bar & Grill at Minot AFB, ND.

This is a Flexible (FLEX) position. A Flex (Intermittent) schedule does not have guaranteed hours, and you may work 0-40 hours per week as needed by the facility.

Employees are eligible to use the fitness center, golf course, bowling center, clubs, and swimming pool.

Duties

Help

Operates a variety of motor vehicles (approximate weight up to 10,000 pounds) to transport and deliver pizza, sandwiches, soft drinks,
beer and a limited variety of hot/cold food items to customers located on and off the installation. Ensures products are delivered to
customers according to quality standards established by management (i.e., freshly prepared foods delivered hot or cold, as appropriate,
and in a timely manner). Accepts patron orders over the telephone or via fax machine. Describes menu items to customer explaining
various product combinations and options. Submits order to cook for preparation of food items, assembles order for transport.
Determines most expeditious route to take, consolidates multiple orders to ensure timely delivery. Obeys all traffic laws and safety
regulations. Performs and documents vehicle operator maintenance, such as checking fluid levels, air pressure in tires, cleaning and
washing vehicles.

Assists food service employees in the preparation of simple food items for delivery/carryout/restaurant. Cleans, cuts, chops and dices
vegetables, salad or other food items. Sets up glasses, silverware, dishes, trays, napkins, condiments and cold menu items such as
salads, desserts, bread and cold beverages on meal preparation/serving line. Removes soiled dishes, trays and utensils. Cleans tables
and counters, sweeps floors, empties and sanitizes waste cans. Cleans kitchen equipment such as worktables, sinks and refrigerators.
Separates food waste and trash from dishes, glasses, serving containers and utensils in the dishwasher area. Loads and operates a
mechanical dishwasher. Returns sanitized items to their original location.

Rings up sales on cash register; maintains a separate cash drawer; accepts payment and makes change; prepares cash reports at end of
shift.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifying Experience:
Must have skill in maneuvering and driving vehicles weighing up to 10,000
pounds. Must have knowledge of defensive driving techniques and regulations. Must be able to follow simple oral instructions
involving duties with several distinct tasks or steps. Must be physically able to frequently handle objects weighing up to 15 pounds
and occasionally up to 20 pounds. Must be able to exert light physical effort in reaching, bending, turning or moving hands, feet and
legs to operate hand and foot controls. Exposed to high temperatures, hot surfaces and cutting utensils.

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
