You will plan and direct the Installation Freight Branch operations for movement of materials and equipment.
You will determine personnel, equipment and material requirements for the Freight Branch.
You will Interpret, adopt and administer policies, procedures, directives and regulations involving movement of freight by various modes to national and
international destinations.
You will supervise Rail Road, Heavy Lift, and Freight Distribution Hub operations.
You will overseas the following automated programs and systems: Automated Manifesting System (AMS), Cargo Movement Operations Systems (CMOS) and Transportation Coordinator's Automated Information For Movement System (TCAIMS).
You will plan and assign work, sets priorities, evaluates work performance, provides training and instructions, interviews and selects employees, hears and resolves complaints and effects disciplinary actions.
You will inspect operating activities to determine status of training, condition of facilities, equipment and the level of services provided.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
