Duties

Help
  • Performs a variety of general clerical and assistant work in support of the mission of the organization. Under general supervision, uses knowledge of the organization's programs, policies, procedures, precedents, and regulatory guidelines, exercises.
  • Serves as the Commercial Solicitation Control Officer and Private Organization point-of-contact (POC) for the command and all tenant activities.
  • Commercial Solicitation Control Officer. Reviews, interprets, and implements command policies relating to commercial solicitation programs and the Department of Defense (DoD) Home-Based Business programs in accordance with AR 210-7.
  • Private Organization POC. Ensures all private organizations operating on installations are in compliance with AR 210-22. Serves as POC for queries on private organizations. Reviews applications for authorization to operate on installations.
  • Ensures all required documents are received (e.g., organization's charter, list of elected officers, federal and state tax status, audits, financial statements, meeting minutes, real estate license, and liability insurance, when applicable).
  • May make presentations, as required, at newcomer orientations. Submits information/flyers to DFMWR for website and newcomer packages. Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Fluctuating work hours will require the work of occasional overtime to accommodate office and command requirements.
  • Must hold a valid state's Driver's License and able to maintain status.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
1. Work experience that includes a practical application of the above described or related work experience.
2. Must be able to communicate in a clear, concise and grammatically correct manner.
3. Must be able to use a variety of software programs such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
4. Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to drive in the local commuting area.

PCS Costs
  • Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.

Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials
  • This is a pay-banded position.
  • Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
  • Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.
