Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed Secret background investigation.
Temporary duty (TDY) business travel, approximately 10% of the time.
A one (1) year probationary period may be required.
THIS IS A FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT Level 2 Certified position. Failure to obtain this certification within the required time (2 years) may subject the incumbent to adverse action.
Qualifications

One year of specialized experience for work that involves: Utilizing automated pay systems, responding to pay inquiries; reviewing pay debt; processing adjustment actions; reviewing pay actions, handling problem cases or inquiries which involve auditing past pay records, debt collection of pay accounts of service members, former service members, or annuitants.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this position you may qualify if your education meets the definition below:
Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Accounting, Finance.(Must provide Transcripts)
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.(Must provide Transcripts)
