Duties

Help

Prepares contracts for private functions, using established costs. Orders flowers, decorations, etc. Prepares all related invitation orders, party work sheets and contracts. Assists patrons with time schedules for weddings and other formal functions. Analyzes requirements of the occasion and recommends suitable services, menus and beverage items. Coordinates with club manager, food service staff and patrons. Draws up contracts making commitment for requested functions. Serves as technical advisor on correct protocol procedures.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE CLEARLY VERIFIABLE IN YOUR RESUME. GOVERNMENT POSITIONS MUST INCLUDE PAY PLAN, SERIES, GRADE, TO AND FROM DATES, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCY/DEPARTMENT. All qualification requirements must include experience performing duties equivalent in scope and complexity to the next lower grade level.

One year of specialized work experience that equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of this position or education leading to bachelor's degree directly related to the duties to be performed. Must possess exceptional communication and people skills in customer service and problem resolution. Preferred is post high school education related to the duties to be performed, experience in sales and customer service as well as knowledge and experience with catering management software. Must have effective communications skills and ability to plan, design and exhibit creative displays and layouts. Minimum 3 years administrative and work experience in the catering and banquet industry desirable. Knowledge of the OPERA Software program is desirable. Previous sales and marketing experience desirable.
