Duties

Help
  • Integrates command policy on property management responsibilities, procedures, accountability, and authorization for information technology products
  • Coordinates with other installation to provide quality service in the information management supply area
  • Authorized to make commitments for the Logistics Chief within the boundaries of supply regulations and policies.
  • Devises storage plans for supplies and equipment.
  • Maintains the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army) and the Auto-Scan Tracking System (ASTS) for all records, accounts, and transactions for the specific unit.
  • Operates a government vehicle to pick up supplies, material, equipment, tools
  • Performs driver maintenance in accordance with established rules and regulations.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • Lifting and moving various items, packages, and materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Indoor and outdoor work will be required. A pre-employment physical is a requirement.
  • Incumbent must have a valid states' motor vehicle driver's license.
  • Must be proficient with MS Office Suite – Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Standard Form 312, Classified Information Nondisclosure Agreement, is required to be filed in the employee Official Personnel Folder (OPF)
  • A qualified typist is required.
  • This position requires TDY 25%.
  • This position is a secret Clearance
  • This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a three year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in DoDI 1400.25 V3005, Cyber Excepted Service, Employment and Placement.

This position is in the Technician/Administrative Work Category at the Entry/Developmental Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe One Year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by Executing the supply management of specialized training aids equipment, devices, simulations, simulators, and other unique equipment for a unit. Responsible for requisitions, receipt, storage, issue, and disposal of unique and special purpose property, equipment, and supplies for organization. Provides technical advice and guidance in all aspects of property accountability to the director, managers, hand receipt holders, and their authorized representatives.
