Duties

Help
  • You will serve as a Data Manager developing Data Management Analysis Plans (DMAP) that are complete and ready for signature and distribution.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring data is distributed, as identified in the event's DMAP. Verifies collected test data is complete, documented, and archived in accordance with data management policy and the DMAP.
  • You will generate report inputs documenting the status of collected data, its validity (corrupt, gaps, etc.) and distribution status as requested by event analysis lead.
  • You will perform event reconstruction in accordance with test plan scenarios and provides analysis to lead for validation.
  • You will interact with all organizations and activities that require information and successfully completes the test planning as enumerated in the Test Plan.
  • You will provide trip reports, briefed materials, and meeting summaries.
  • You will assess and document lessons learned on conduct of test data collection, data distribution, and archiving.
  • You will determine objectives, sets priorities, delegates work to the right person/group, and monitors progress.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to perform occasional overseas duty.

Qualifications

NT-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-03 (GS-09/10 equivalent) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector must demonstrate the following: Developing data management plans and coordinating on-site collection by utilizing software tools to catalog data for the improvement of data management, verification and distribution processes.

NT-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-02 (GS-05/08) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Executing data management plans for the cataloging of data to support the improvement of data management, verification and distribution processes.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

Education

For the NT-03 pay band: Education may be used to substitute experience with the following:

  • Successful completion of two full years of graduate level education that is directly related to the position being filled; OR

  • A combination of experience and graduate level education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.

This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-3 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-09 and GS-10. The NT-4 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-11 and GS-12.
