Two-year temporary appointment. The Library Technology Specialist is one of the Library's main technical support staff members, responsible for a variety of technology projects and tasks that support the work of the Court and Library staff. The Library Technology Specialist assists senior library staff by supporting the use of all library systems, providing training and user support, and assisting with design and maintenance of Library websites and library-specific hardware and software installations, upgrades, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
A degree in information science is preferred. Significant experience supporting users, applications, and hardware is required. Library or library-related work experience is strongly preferred. Experience with integrated library systems, digitization projects, databases, and large data sets and with HTML and web site maintenance is strongly preferred. Experience creating and manipulating video images and sound files is preferred. Experience organizing and conducting both group and individual training is preferred.
A Bachelor's degree is required.
