Duties

Help

  1. Receive and confirm room reservations by letter, telephone, email, or personal contact.
  2. Calculate and post charges to patron's accounts, accept payments, prepare and safeguard cash receipts.
  3. Ensure required information is received from guest and entered into guest folio.
  4. Ensure housekeeping status of rooms is updated, front desk area and lobby remains clean and customer service is the first priority.
  5. Drives one or more types of passenger vehicles for specific trips or regular schedules.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience:
  1. Applicant must have experience in general clerical or cashier work of any kind in which the applicant has demonstrated ability to perform satisfactorily in handling multiple tasks and providing quality customer service.
  2. Experience must have demonstrated the ability to resolve common arithmetic problems, and to make change when receiving payment from customers.
  3. Must be able to read, speak, and write English.
  4. Knowledge of operating one or more gasoline, diesel, or electric powered wheeled vehicles with a GVW of up to 10,000 pounds such as pickup trucks, sedans, crew cab pickup trucks, jeeps, and station wagons.
  5. Possess knowledge of defensive driving techniques, including skill to recognize developing hazardous road and traffic conditions and the judgment to select alternate routes to avoid potential problems.
