Help
  • Provide oversight and direction in the negotiation and preparation of out grants authorizing the temporary use of Government property to other Government agencies, state and political subdivisions and private individuals.
  • Assure that all Real Estate actions are processed, and the files are documented in accordance with all appropriate environmental laws and regulations.
  • Review leases and other out grant actions to assure compliance with policies and regulations and to protect the best interest of the Government.
  • Assure encroachments on Government owned or leased properties are resolved in accordance with the district policy and appropriate laws and regulations.
  • Serve as primary point of contact and technical expert for projects assigned to the team.
  • Assign work within the team, set priorities, and schedule work efforts of team members making adjustments as needed.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. GS-12 Specialized Experience: one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level which includes researching, interpreting, and applying real estate laws, regulations, and procedures; establishing types of agreements to be obtained in complex cases of varied interests; and establishing budgets and schedules to accomplish real estate tasks. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
