Duties

Help
  • Analyze protection plans submitted by subordinate organizations to provide the commander with informed advice on significant trends in the organization's protection operations.
  • Assist subordinate Anti-terrorism (AT), Physical Security (PS), and OPSEC Officers in the development of protection plans, and monitor/inspect their plans for effectiveness.
  • Develop and publish exercise guidance, coordinating the creation of all necessary exercise products, including Master Scenario Events List (MSEL) items, implementation plans, and control staff instructions.
  • Provide support to higher headquarters and subordinate organizations in developing directives, plans, and scenarios related to protection emergency operations and exercises.
  • Develop and maintain the NETCOM Continuity of Operations (COOP) and Continuity Facility (CF) Plans in accordance with AR 500-3.
  • Maintain the NETCOM managed Mission Assurance Risk Management Systems (MARMS) and any NTECOM-developed systems to track vulnerabilities.

  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearance or access for the duration of employment.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one-year specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by Utilizing antiterrorism policies and guidance to drive security concepts, principles, and practices in developing, implementing, and/or managing a Protection Program; Providing guidance to senior management on combating terrorism, physical security, Continuity of Operations (COOP), and/or operations security; Conducting briefings with stakeholders to review security policies and procedures for planning and executing a Protection Program; Directing teams to accomplish critical, time-sensitive security objectives, such as, Staff Assisted Visits (SAVs), Organizational Inspection Program (OIPs), and physical security measures.
