Duties

Help
  • Responsible for ensuring schedules are met and all required materiel-handling equipment and any other needed support is in place for personnel to complete assigned tasks.
  • Tracks inbound and outbound commercial conveyances to ensure timely loading and offloading to ensure schedules are met and avoid detention charges to the Activity.
  • Coordinates with supervisors, leaders, and schedulers to assist in drawing up and planning realistic schedules.
  • Update data in automated systems.
  • Analyze data for reports, metrics, standards and development of budget information.

  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.

  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period.

Qualifications

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. General Experience: Three years progressively responsible experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least the NH-01 grade level, which includes maintaining files to ensure accurate record keeping; entering data into automated systems to assist with schedules (e.g. Shipping, receiving, production support, inventory support, storage, re-warehousing, surveillance, and transportation); creating reports and/or presentations for analysis of tracking ammunition/explosive movements. This definition of general experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-01).

Education: Four year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree.

OR

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 36. Then divide your total number of completed undergraduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 120. Add the two percentages.

Pay increase within the band will be accomplished through the Contribution-based Compensation and Appraisal System (CCAS).
