Help

  • Evaluating programs for deficiencies and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Applying rules and regulations to develop internal methods of operations or procedures to accomplish program objectives.
  • Plan and organize work to be done including defining assignments and deadlines for completion.
  • Collaborate with others within and outside the agency to accomplish program objectives.
  • Managing medical products, projects and systems throughout the acquisition life cycle.
  • Managing the introduction of developmental and non-developmental items into the organization.

Qualifications

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience Requirements for DJ-03 (GS-11/12):

I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) Applying rules and regulations to develop internal methods of operations or procedures to accomplish program objectives. 2) Performing duties involving administrative programs such as resource management including budget, auditing, management, and program analysis. 3) Managing medical products, projects, and systems throughout the acquisition life cycle. And 4) Managing the introduction of developmental and non-developmental items into an organization.

OR

I have successfully completed a Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, such as Program Management, Business Administration, Personnel Administration, System Management (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)
