Duties

Help
  • Responsible for the integration and analysis of all CFT projects to enable the capability development process in support of both Army and Joint Defense operations as well as Combined and Joint All-Domain Command and Control convergence activities.
  • Oversees the development and delivery of capability integration plans, capability analysis/assessments, and sustainment activities for CFT efforts.
  • Senior advisor to the CFT Director and the authority concerning the development, implementation, modification, and management of long- and short-range integration.
  • Advise on system sustainment, DOTMLPF integration, concepts, testing, experimentation, and analytical strategies, goals, objectives, policies, and priorities.
  • Manages the CFTs portion of the Army Experimentation Plan.
  • Synchronizes, coordinates, and manages the CFT portion of Army Experimentation Plan in coordination with the other CFTs, CDID, FCC, the experimentation community of practice, and other stakeholders.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Applying knowledge of capabilities development sufficient to to identify capability gaps, seams and overlaps, and redundancies within and between architectures and measure against DOTMLPF spectrum of solution considerations; 2) Translating cross functional team goals into resource guidance sufficient to advise on application systems and sustainment integration; 3) Developing new and innovative methods of integration to maximize the contribution of new systems and architectures to operations; and 4) Analyzing current and planned modernization investments to determine if these investments support the direction for implementing the modernization efforts. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (DE-03/GS-13).
