Duties

Help
  • Makes reservations for incoming guests based on room availability, and interviews incoming guests to determine rooms assignment.
  • Assists clientele in the completion of required forms and registration cards. Answers questions pertaining to rules and regulations governing the assignment and use of quarters; issues room keys.
  • Provides statement of non-availability when applicable. Posts registration information on the registration card.
  • Orients guests concerning use of facilities and equipment, and other facilities available on post. Assists or arranges transportation.
  • Computes charges for guests checking out, receives payments and room keys, renders receipts. Answers billing questions and concerns. Accounts for and secures cash at the end of shift.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • May be required to stand for long period of time.
  • Duties may involve working both indoors and outdoors.
  • This is a 7-day operation. Shift will include hours between 0800 through 1600 but is subject to change based on the needs of the activity. Nights, weekends and holidays are required.

Qualifications

Qualifications must be clearly verifiable in your resume.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide at the level necessary to complete required reports and use a computer for work processing or data entry.
  • Good verbal communication and customer service skills.
  • One-year hotel front desk experience is preferred.
Highly Preferred Criteria: (All answers to the Highly Preferred criteria must be visible in your resume to get credit).
  • Possess a minimum of six (6) months clerical work experience
