Help
  • Executes demand planning for a complex portfolio of weapons systems and/or component piece parts.
  • Supports the development and implementation of outcome-based demand support strategies that optimize supply chain management principles to enhance system readiness and life cycle cost affordability.
  • Executes the demand planning module.
  • Supports the weapon system manager in the development and documentation of demand forecasts to support the weapon system sustainment strategy in accordance with policy and regulatory guidance.
  • Addresses a variety of demand planning problems, questions, or conditions.

  • Secret Security clearance required.
  • One-year probationary period may be required.
  • This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Functional Certification within 36 months of entrance on duty.
  • This position has a Data Analytics requirement. The incumbent must meet all requirements for Data Analytics level one (1) certification within 12 months of being placed on the position.

Qualifications

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job.

Specialized experience: 1) Analyzing supply chain, demand planning, supply planning, or sourcing data; 2) Performing demand planning with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and/or a Systems Applications and Products (SAP) program; AND 3) Collaborating with team to meet mission objectives.

Education
