You will perform system administrative functions for public exchange telecommunications switches (e.g., NORTEL 81C) and related off the shelf supporting software (e.g., CAIRS).
You will analyze system operations to identify deficiencies and take action to resolve problems relative to long haul, large bandwidth circuits between DISA and Customer end points.
You will review and implement local policies regarding system access, network rights and physical access to systems and equipment.
You will execute systems software changes and/or patches, operating system failures to isolate source of problems between equipment and system software and provide a solution.
You will plan, schedule, distribute and monitor the work performed by the Division.
