Duties

Help
  • Works international programs relating to coproduction, cooperative development, and Foreign Military Sales. Performs a continuing evaluation and analysis of assigned program areas.
  • Performs a continuing evaluation and analysis of assigned program areas to reflect program status and identify areas requiring top management attention.
  • Develops methodology for collecting, reviewing, and analyzing data from contractors and government activities, and develops program data for program reviews through DOD level for presentation, conferences, display, and other management purposes.

  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance for the duration of employment.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one year trial period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
  • This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
  • Selectees must meet position requirements for certification at Level Practitioner in the Acquisition Career Field Program Management within 60 months of entrance on duty.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
  • This position requires submission of Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, upon entering the position and annually thereafter.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Experience Required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience at the NH-02 (GS-11, or equivalent) level in the Federal Service that includes: 1) Developing, using Microsoft Project, Integrated Master Schedules complaint with DoD-5000 policy guidance and requirements; 2) Adjusting Integrated Master Schedules for changes in program events 3) Utilizing technical knowledge of schedule develop systems to provide impacts for a variety of scenarios and to analyze data to develop solutions to mitigate schedule issues; and 4) Communicating project/program schedule status to identify areas needing emphasis and to ensure schedules are accurately planned and executed and align with projected funding.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-02/GS-11).
