Duties

Help
  • Serve as the Senior Realty Officer in the Master Planning Division.
  • Review Real Property Acceptance and Transfer documentation for accuracy (e.g., correct category codes, units of measure, etc.).
  • Prepare DD1354 for new construction and capital improvement projects to ensure all real property assets are properly identified, quantified, accurately coded, and input the Real Property Database of Record – General Fund Enterprise System (GFEBS).
  • Oversees the administration of asset validation and ensures internal controls and corrective actions are implemented in accordance with Chief Financial Officers Act (CFOA) and DOD Financial Audit mandates
  • Develop and recommend Outgrant requests and prepares requisite supporting documentation necessary to execute a Report of Availability approval package.
  • Serve as the Installation Space Management Officer, and is responsible for documenting all space assignments at APG in GFEBS.

  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Experience applying a knowledge of real estate principles, practices, techniques, and methodologies in land acquisition, management and/or disposal. 2) Experience in real estate activities to include negotiations, budgeting, leasing, property transfer alterations, space management, acquisition and disposal of federally-owned and/or leased property. 3) Experience coordinating with various stakeholders (e.g., other agencies, government, corporations, private property owners, and/or realtors) to execute real property management projects. 4) Experience in developing correspondences and briefing material for briefings to executive leaders. 5) Experience conducting real property surveys, inspections, and/or reviews for quality control and quality assurance of key real property management and financial data elements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
