Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and schematic drawings, and use shop math as it applies to electrical work. 2. Skill in working from shop sketches, blueprints, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic diagrams, manuals, engineering instructions, specifications, charts, parts lists, catalogs and verbal instructions. 3. Knowledge of hydraulic systems. 4. Theoretical knowledge of DC electricity and basic electronics as related to transistors and semi-conductors. 5. Skill in testing, servicing and charging batteries. 6. Makes jig and fixtures for specialized equipment. 7. Operates machines and tools such as grinders, electric drills, arbor presses, and bench lathes. 8. Skill in the use of various hand tools and precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, liquid pressure gauges, liquid flow meters, depth gauges, timing devices and feeler gauges. 9. Skill in the use of voltmeters, ohmmeters, mergers, ammeter resistance meters and test cards, works close to tolerances on majority of work.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
