Help
  • Perform property systems analysis at contractor's facilities and work sites to ensure facility property is being accounted for in accordance with the terms of the contract.
  • Review contractor plans, guidance and automated records to ensure proper acquisition, accountability, use, maintenance, protection, and disposition of Property.
  • Exercise oversight for varied complex property control systems maintained by several prime contractors and many subcontractors to assist in reporting the health of a contractor’s property system and any problems concerning property administration.
  • Originate documents and advise program Contracting Officers about contractor liability due to property loss/damage. Perform final disposition of excess real/personal property to include real/personal property using the proper systems.
  • Work as Property/Equipment Manager alongside the contracting and program offices responsible for clearing program property/equipment from many contractors/subcontractors to ensure the prompt and proper disposition/reutilization of Property.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. If the security clearance is denied or revoked, the individual may be denied or removed from the position, accordingly.
  • This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Contracting Professional Certification within 36 months of entrance on duty.
  • Must file annual financial statement.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience:One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Analyzing property management systems/procedures to measure program effectiveness; 2) Performing property management functions and proper disposition/reutilization of Property; And 3) Establishing government property capabilities and the requirement for forecasting future program needs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
