As a Deputy Assistant Inspector General for Audit and Evaluation, you will oversee the Evaluation teams, to include Information Technology Evaluations Division, Program Evaluations Division, and Evaluation Operations Division.

As a Deputy Assistant Inspector General for Audit and Evaluation, you will:
- Serve as a principal advisor and deputy to the AIGA and direct the work of an organizational unit, both in Headquarters and field-based operations. This position and the AIGA share management responsibility for the office's functions, including planning, conducting, supervising, and coordinating audits and evaluations related to HUD programs and operations.
- Oversee the annual and long-term planning for both audits and evaluations, ensuring that the office meets its strategic goals.
- Lead and manage a diverse team of audit and evaluation employees.
- Act as the primary liaison between the OIG and other federal, state, and local agencies on audit and evaluation matters. Coordinate closely with the GAO, Office of Management and Budget, Department of Justice, and other external partners.
- Recommend policies for conducting, supervising, or coordinating relationships between the Department and other federal, state, or local government entities with respect to matters relating to the promotion of economy and efficiency in the administration of or the prevention and detection of fraud and abuse in HUD financed programs and operations administered by other government entities.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
