Human Resources position(s) are being filled through the Office of Personnel Management's delegated Direct Hire Authority, open to all U.S. citizens. Qualifications

Applicants must qualify for the series and grade of the posted position.

Proof of education must be submitted with your application package and received by the closing date of the announcement. Candidates must meet the basic qualification requirements for the position being filled, including any positive education requirements and/or selective placement factors.

Minimum Qualifications: Grade 5 To qualify at the GS-5 level, applicants must have one of the following:

  • A bachelor's degree or 4 years of education above high school leading to a bachelor's degree. NOTE: Transcripts are required to substantiate claimed education.; OR
  • 3 years of progressively responsible experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least GS-4, that demonstrates the ability to: analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions, plan and organize work, and communicate effectively orally and in writing.; OR
  • When combined, education and experience total 100% of the requirements.
Minimum Qualifications: Grade 7 To qualify at the GS-7 level, applicants must have one of the following:
  • A bachelor's degree AND superior academic achievement. Superior academic achievement is defined as: (1) graduating with at least a 3.0/4.0 GPA; (2) graduating in the top third of the graduating class; or (3) membership in a national scholastic honor society. NOTE: Transcripts are required to substantiate education.; OR
  • One full year of graduate level study, or possess a Master's or higher degree, e.g., LL.B., J.D., LL.M., Ph.D., etc., in a field that provided the knowledge, skills, and abilities to do the work of the position. NOTE: Transcripts are required to substantiate education.; OR
  • At least 52 weeks of specialized experience at the GS-5, or equivalent, which is in or related to the work of the position to be filled which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience includes assisting supervisors or higher-graded specialists in the following areas: analyzing, developing and evaluating issues and delivering human resources management products or services.; OR
  • When combined, graduate education and experience total 100% of the requirements.
