Duties

Help

The purpose of the position is to perform simple manual tasks. Performs a variety of tasks which include but are not limited to the following: Opens, unpacks, and removes contents of cartons and places them where directed; performs general housekeeping duties such as packing up trash and paper from designated areas; pulls weeds, waters grass, and rakes leaves. May perform duties requiring use of tools and equipment such as a hand truck, rake, brush, etc. Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Ability to frequently lift and carry light to medium objects weighing 10 to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and carry objects weighing up to 45 pounds.

  • Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience:
No previous experience or training is required. Ability to follow simple oral instructions and use simple tools or equipment. Ability to frequently lift and carry light to medium objects weighing 10 to 30 pounds. May occasionally be required to lift and carry objects weighing up to 45 pounds. Must be able to actively bend, stoop, stand, reach, and work in awkward positions. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
