In addition to any other matters that may be assigned, this position is expected to focus on procurement matters. • Provide legal opinions and advice, interpret statutes, regulations, case law, departmental orders, agency circulars, and contracts, with particular emphasis on all legal matters under the responsibility of the General Law Division.
  • Provide legal advice and support on complex or high-profile legal and policy issues requiring a high degree of creativity and competence to identify and resolve.
  • ln adversarial and adjudicative proceedings in which you may represent FTA_ e.g., contracts or employment matters before administrative tribunals—you plan FTA’s litigation strategy, direct all discovery, and advocate on behalf of FTA through written and oral presentations.
